Songbird APK for Android

Songbird is an excellent music player for Android that’s perfect for users looking for a clean, simple app. This app stands out for its ease of use and intuitiveness. Songbird automatically detects and organizes your music, and presents it for listening in a simple, well-thought out interface that reminded us of Spotify, but better!

Songbird has all the usual suspects – playlists, a good search function, a now playing window that supports album artwork, etc. It’s easy to navigate through your music using the buttons at the top of the app, and shuffle and repeat are easily accessible through the now playing window. Touching the Songbird icon will bring you to the main screen.

Among Songbird’s nicest features – apart from the design – is the availability of a homescreen widget, and the presence of lockscreen controls, so you don’t have to unlock your phone to control your music. On the downside, it has very, very few options. This will probably be a plus to some users, but most will miss the ability to carry out even very basic tweaks, like equalizing their music.

Songbird is a great music player – it’s just a shame it’s not slightly more advanced.
