This is the addictive video game: School Tycoon! Originally released on Windows in 2021, it is still active and playable with a bit of tweaking. It is a city building / city simulation game, based on modern themes and a realistic management theme. The game revolves around the management of an educational establishment - a school, in this case. And like many other simulation games, you have to manage resources efficiently in order to provide your students with top-notch education.
This computer game was designed to cater to a younger audience as it is easier and less complex than other similar titles. In a nutshell, School Tycoon is an educational tool for those that are more technologically challenged. The interesting part of the game is that you not only have to teach and train your students, but you also have to manage your staff, finances, and profits to keep your school afloat. School tycoons can choose from a variety of options such as renovating, adding new rooms, equipping it with a pool or a gym, or simply upgrading its location. You can also make a deal with neighboring schools and compete for their students. The main objective of the game is to make sure that your school makes it to the top of the rankings in all aspects.
There is also a sequel to School Tycoon: City Generations. However, as of now the game has not been updated or developed for Windows Mobile, iPad or any other mobile device. Another update is in the works as the game is still available through Steam for some time already, but it is unclear if it will be coming soon. If you are fond of simulation games, you will definitely enjoy School Tycoon. There are still many people that have yet to play it, which is a pretty good sign of how popular it is.
