Netflix VR: An Overview

Netflix VR is an Android application developed by Netflix Inc. Its rating is only 2.1 from a possible ten rating and was recently rated therefore by more than 519 users worldwide. Over time, it went through several iterations by the developers - some positive and some not so positive. At present, there are no official plans for an official Netflix VR app. However, several movies have already been screened on its official YouTube channel and several more are scheduled to be premiering in the near future. It's interesting to note that Netflix Inc.'s stock price has rocketed a lot recently (on October 8th, it rose by almost 22%, from a price of forty dollars to a current value of six hundred dollars).
So, what is so special about Netflix VR or Netflix iPhone app that makes it different and in some ways superior to all other virtual reality applications? The answer is simple: it does look really good. The background images are finely rendered and the world around you appears extremely lifelike. However, not everything on netflixvr is a success; some apps are actually not even enjoyable to play. One example is called The Settler, which seems to take all the fun out of sailing simulation through water.
Another example of a bad or application is called Chrona Collections: The Chronicles of Raggedy and other similar games. These kinds of apps are all over the internet and look extremely nice but offer little to no substance. The main problem with these vr apps is that they are not designed by Netflix itself, but rather through independent third-party companies. This means that Netflix itself doesn't review these apps, so consumers have to rely on other people's reviews for their trustworthiness. Netflix VR, on the other hand, has received numerous official reviews from the company itself and passes those by as well.
