DragKing: Streamline Your Copy-Paste Workflow

The copy and paste function is a fundamental tool in computer usage, but it can still be enhanced for better efficiency. DragKing, developed by Donationcoder, is a free Windows program that aims to simplify the copy-paste process. With DragKing, anything you select with your mouse is automatically copied to the Clipboard, eliminating the need for manual copying. This means you can simply use the Ctrl+V shortcut to paste the content wherever you need it.
DragKing also provides a useful feature where it displays a balloon tip showing the number of copied characters, words, and lines. Although this feature can be disabled if it becomes distracting, it can be helpful in keeping track of the content you have copied. The program runs silently in the system tray and can be easily enabled or disabled using customizable hotkeys.
One downside of DragKing is that it does not work if the text is selected using keyboard shortcuts. However, despite this limitation, DragKing remains a valuable utility that can enhance your productivity by streamlining your copy-paste workflow.
