Beach Buggy Racing 2 Is A Fun Ride On The Seas
Beach Buggy Racing 2 has been a long awaited sequel to the hit arcade game Beach Buggy. The main character of Beach Buggy is the hot-headed young woman called Blossom, who loves to race her motorbike across various courses filled with obstacles. To become a professional racer, Blossom has joined the Pro Prix League, an internationally known racing league run by her father, Dr. Wily. Since joining, she has gained several sponsors, which helps to fund her ventures. However, since becoming a professional race driver, Blossom hasn't won a major race, and whenever she does win, it's just taken out of one of the many competing tracks. She also seems to have fallen out with her childhood friend Paco, who has become an expert on racing tips.
In Beach Buggy Racing 2, you must help Blossom to save the islands of Galapagos from the evil Doctor Drakken. Along the way, you'll encounter a number of different vehicles, and each has their own strengths and weaknesses. As in the arcade version, you must accumulate enough coins to upgrade your vehicle. You can drive your motorcycle, golf cart, or even your bicycle over the course of the game - though you'll need to earn some new skill points to drive these vehicles over obstacles such as sandbags, spikes, and boulders. Once you've successfully completed all levels, you'll unlock a special challenge mode, where you race against the computer, and try to finish all the levels within the shortest time possible.
While Beach Buggy Racing 2 looks quite similar to its arcade and lawn tennis predecessors, this is not a faithful recreation. The controls are clunky and unresponsive, the graphics are unappealing and dull, and the gameplay often feels slow. However, if you're looking for a unique arcade experience that you won't find on other Android devices, then Beach Buggy Racing 2 is definitely worth checking out. It's free to download from the Android Market, so it doesn't matter if your tablet or smartphone doesn't have a screen of its own. For a few dollars, you can enjoy hours of fun on the beach - and if you're into mobile gaming, then you will be pleasantly surprised by Beach Buggy Racing 2's solid gameplay and addictive arcade action.
