Graphics
For a mobile game, the graphics in Rice Burner are phenomenal when it comes to the cars. Particle effects, smoke and the general smoothness of the environments don't leave much more to be desired. The vehicles themselves are clean, well-textured, smoothly modelled and all-around stunning. However, the menu, buttons, icons and in-game thumbnail images look like they've been directly ported from a 90's classic.

Pointless lore
The complex intro credits explaining the in-game world's condition aren't necessary. The game functions almost entirely independently of the established lore and hardly ever references it. Rice Burner works incredibly well as a car tuning game; it doesn't need any kind of in-game history.
Capable tuner
Rice Burner stands out amongst other Android vehicle tuning apps as one of the most realistic. While other tuning games also feature workshops, most of the customisations you can make are inconsequential and have little to no effect on performance. Rice Burner lets you build a car from scratch, in some cases starting with bare bodies. Once you've built the engine, driveshaft and all other integral components, you can head out into the world and test your creation.
Fully customisable
Rice Burner lets you change every part of the vehicles you work on. You can give your car gullwing doors or spinners, trade conventional headlamps for coloured glass and adjust the stance and camber of your car's rims. You can also raise and lower the suspension of your car, as well as fit it with a wide array of performance and aesthetic enhancements.
Strong concept
Rice Burner is one of those games that you'll likely return to time and again. The gameplay is generally smooth, and the game's overall feel is of an authentic tuning and testing environment. Without the addition of strange and pointless lore, the game would be close to a perfect representation of what tuner games should be like. Incredibly detailed and customisable cars are the cherry on top of this incredible vehicle tuning game.
