Gameloft (Full)
Assassin's Creed is a 2008 Nintendo release that, thanks to Gameloft, found its way to Android devices, too. The Android version is a mix of action and adventure with exciting gameplay that allows you to explore the world from your fingertips.
Classic
Assassin's Creed follows Altair, a killer on a task to eliminate a group of Templars who dominate the world. Stealthy climbing on the rooftops and sneak attacks are your greatest weapons. The mobile version features a bit more of the main action at the expense of stealth, but it does so with good measure, not being overwhelming.
Easy controls
One challenges with developing an Android version is the control of Altair. The assassin is quick and agile, full of movement mixes for you to master. However, Gameloft has implemented a one-button control system, taking over the more complex gimmicks while you scroll to move, jump, and crouch.
Top-notch graphics
The game looks fantastic on Android devices - it is one of the most beautiful 2D games released for smartphones. The effects are colorful, crisp, and super-detailed. You pay the price for that, though, as the game sometimes lags on smartphones with the frame rate slowing down.
Engaging storyline
The familiar story, excellent graphics, and straightforward gameplay make this a perfect pick for anyone in love with the original. The game will lag at times, but overall, it provides a great experience.
