Clear Day provides live weather updates and helps users keep a tab of their current location and the places they are planning to visit. When you download this app you receive live updates that assist you in planning for your travel arrangements. The app is really simple to use and has a very intuitive user interface. As soon as you download Weather HD from the iTunes store, you just follow a couple of directions and then the software can provide you with the weather forecast. In principle, it is just another weather forecast app but its simple design hat has more intuitive power making it all the more usable. As soon as the application is configured on your Mac computer, you have access to high resolution images that depict the condition of the area that you are located in. There are about 2 million locations that are monitored by the app. Moreover, it provides 3 hourly forecasts as well as a 7 day forecast if you are looking to plan a little further ahead. There is also a radar map that is fully animated and relates stats about humidity, temperature and satellite data, as well as a new feature that provides you with the moon phases. Additionally, you get to know about the exact timings and locations of the sunrise and sunset. Those who are living in Europe and the U.S. will have some severe weather updates available so that they can get alerts about any upcoming situations. The application is very rigid in its structure but is definitely a reliable source of weather updates. There is no way in which you would be able to change the weather data provider, which is currently Weather Underground. The app is accessible right from the menu bar as well. However, the only issue with this app is that it updates the weather conditions only after 3 hours. At times of critical needs, it might become a huge problem for users, yet overall, it is a great weather app with accurate results.

WhatsApp for Mac is a renowned messaging service that has been around for some time now. Although you can use it on the web, WhatsApp for Mac has launched a desktop app for both Windows and Mac OS X platforms. This new desktop version of the app will be great for some users, as it no longer needs to take up space in your web browser. The new app basically works as an extension of your phone; it mirrors messages and conversations from your device. Using the desktop version of the app comes with advantages including proper native desktop notifications and better keyboard shortcuts.
