goober Messenger is a multi-functional messenger that goes beyond the traditional instant messaging client. It offers a wide range of features, from an IM client to online videos, making it a comprehensive messaging and multimedia platform. The interface is well-presented and polished, with a toolbar at the top that serves as the main control center. From here, users can add new messenger contacts, manage their address book, and add widgets to expand the functionality of goober Messenger.
One unique feature of goober Messenger is its widget function, which allows users to easily enhance the capabilities of the messenger. Additionally, goober Messenger provides access to an online hard drive with 200MB of free space. The messenger also includes a "Radio and TV" button, allowing users to watch TV and listen to radio channels within the application.
Although the Mac beta release of goober Messenger does not currently support video or landline/mobile calls, these features are expected to be available in the official release. Despite the cluttered interface and obscure radio and video channels, goober Messenger deserves praise for its innovative approach to messaging and multimedia.
