Free offline FPS for Android

Clash Squad Battlegrounds Max is a free offline action game for Android developed by NOSCRISMA Inc. This is a mobile game that offers first-person gameplay and numerous missions for free and completely offline.
If you’re looking for something a little more collaborative, or a game that actually works as intended, try Garena Free Fire MAX, or Gun Force: Gun Battle Royale. The former is completely online, but the latter features both a multiplayer and offline single-player mode.
Strike missions
Clash Squad Battlegrounds Max centres around numerous levels of strike missions. Every time you complete an assigned task, you’ll unlock a new level and be able to progress further. Step into the combat boots of an army officer. You are tasked to go on counterstrike missions where your singular goal is to eliminate all enemy combatants.
Clash Squad Battlegrounds Max features a decent wealth of weaponry and combat essentials, however, most of them need to be unlocked and purchased with in-game cash. This is however preferable to the pay-to-win setup that usually dominates the first-person shooter genre.
Gameplay
One quirk during the gameplay in Clash Squad Battlegrounds Max is that you can’t see your enemies. You’ll have to listen for gunshots and respond accordingly. Shooting is incredibly easy as you only have to press the bullet button in your GUI.
Speaking of the GUI, there are no directional buttons in Clash Squad Battlegrounds Max whereby you can control your character’s movement. Instead, you’ll need to swipe your finger across the screen to move. Another quirk and potential error in coding is that there is an aim button, but it doesn’t do anything when you press it. Another pointless button is the one meant to make your character run or crouch - it simply doesn’t work.
Ad-intensive
Unfortunately, as we have to bring up with so many mobile games, Clash Squad Battlegrounds Max is laden with ads. Even though the game is completely playable offline - as playable as a poorly functioning game can be - you should be prepared for a lot of advertisements. Ads aren’t limited to just pop-ups either. Expect banner ads that obscure your vision during gameplay, as well as ad inserts every so often as you play.
Poor first-person shooter
Unfortunately, this game doesn’t function as it should. Too many buttons essential to gameplay simply don’t work, and the fact that you can’t see your enemies takes a lot away from the game. The ads are the cherry on the top, but overall, the game is incredibly difficult and largely unplayable.
