Call of Duty: Warzone is a free battle royale game available for PC regardless of whether you own Modern Warfare or not. Warzone has a unique feature not available in other games from this franchise or even this genre, as it supports 150 players in a single match compared to typical 100 player matches.
Warzone offers several game types, like battle royale, deathmatch and plunder, and four maps. You can rumble with your squad in a 50 versus 50 deathmatch mode complete with various perks and exclusive gear, or just play the battle royale. Players looking for alternate battle royale games can check out Apex Legends, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, and Fortnite.
Exciting game modes
Call of Duty: Warzone offers two primary modes of gameplay: Battle Royale and Plunder. In addition to these modes, there are several extra time-limited modes available for play. Blood Money gives cash rewards for completing contracts and performing ‘finishing moves’ on other players. Mini-Royale is a smaller 50 player mode variation on the larger battle mode.
150 player support
The battle royale playstyle of Call of Duty: Warzone is similar to other games in the genre. Up to 150 players will fight on a gradually shrinking battlefield. A yellow gas that takes away health will appear for players not in the safe zone, forcing players to fight in tight quarters. The last player or team remaining is the winner of this mode.
Enjoy more prizes
Season five and the battle pass for Call of Duty: Warzone is now available for you to buy. It offers 100 tiers of new content, including access to Kitsune, the new operator. You can gain points back from advancing through the battle pass. A battle pass bundle is available during the first two weeks of the season, that offers a skip of 20 tiers and exclusive skin for Kitsune.
Join the warzone
Call of Duty: Warzone takes what players loved in Black Ops and turns it up to max, allowing more max players than any other battle royale title. Some of the time-limited game modes even support up to 200 players.
Activision allows cross-platform play and cross-platform progression of this title for Xbox, PlayStation, and Windows.
