Advantages and Limitations
Adobe Dreamweaver is an integrated development environment (IDE) tool that is utilized in combination with Adobe's engine-accelerated web designing and developing tool, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft's internet explorer. Dreamweaver has a built-in code viewer which supports syntax highlighting, code completion, automatic code refactoring, and code inspections for generating detailed information about the source code. Apart from these features, it also allows its users to build reusable components and reusable modules.
CSS/SEM files are generated automatically whenever a HTML file is saved or when the page is refreshed. It provides several benefits and features including support for multiple languages, validation, error tracking and syntax highlighting. In addition, Dreamweaver has a built-in search tool, a tool for generating HTML code view diagrams, debugging, navigation, forms, and forms. It provides integrated search tool that helps users locate and open a file while browsing.
In spite of the extensive number of advantages provided by Adobe Dreamweaver, this web development tool is facing several drawbacks that are being addressed with each new version of the software. One such limitation is that it does not support the YUI language, which is a scripting interface for creating user-friendly applications for Windows. It also does not support offline storage and synchronization of data, which makes it ineffective for some enterprise-based web applications. Apart from these limitations, the performance of Adobe Dreamweaver on Mac OS is quite poor, which could affect the speed of your application.
