WOT: Instantly see which sites you can trust

Web of Trust (WOT) is a simple add-on for Mac that shows you via traffic lights which websites you can trust for safe surfing, shopping, and searching on the web. WOT ratings are powered by users of the extension who have rated millions of websites based on their experiences. It also utilizes third-party sources to warn you about malware and other technical threats.
The warning process is straightforward. When using search engines like Google, Yahoo!, or Bing, or when browsing social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, or even when using online email services such as Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, and Hotmail, you will see a green, yellow, or red icon next to search results and links. Green indicates a trustworthy site, yellow means cautious, and red indicates a potentially unsafe site.
You have the flexibility to change settings and decide where you want to see ratings and whether you want to be warned of potential danger. Additionally, you can contribute to the community by rating sites yourself. While it is possible that some sites may be flagged as dangerous when they are actually safe, WOT is generally very accurate in its assessments.
Overall, WOT is an excellent extension that keeps you safe while browsing the web.
