Turtle Odyssey Game Review
Turtle Odyssey is an action-adventure computer game developed and published by Realore, a casual game developer and virtual tabletop publisher based in Germany. The story behind Turtle Odyssey starts with a single character, the adventurer called Thierry. He wakes up one day unable to move his limbs, but he has no recollection of what happened before this catastrophic day.
Since this accident, Thierry sets out on a journey to find his missing legs, which were surgically attached to a turtle called Squig. Along the way, he encounters several strange creatures, the likes of which include a bunny, a snail and even a talking snake. The aim behind the game is to guide Squig across different levels by placing turtles of various colours on the screen, thus increasing its life. In order to complete each level, you will also need to find and collect different coloured turtles, as well as power-ups that will boost your character's performance in battle. This is where Turtle Odyssey differs from its predecessor's, as you can now play Turtle Odyssey online for free - it has all the makings of a successful franchise.
Although the game is very much like many of the adventure games that have come before, Turtle Odyssey offers much more. For example, you can select the game's difficulty level at the beginning, so that you won't be forced to start from a low level. Moreover, you can also choose between three different worlds which, when combined, give you access to fifty levels of fun - although I doubt whether any of them are going to be too exciting for adults! In addition, you can also purchase extra add-ons such as a turtle hat, a sword, or even a helicopter which will allow you to traverse the different worlds more easily.
