What’s New

  • The release of Tails 7.8 rolls out an update for Tor Browser ver. 15.0.14. It also removed Thunderbird by default (but it can still be installed as additional software), and fixed multiple security vulnerabilities in the Linux kernel and haveged. Tails will automatically update from 7.0 to 7.8, and it will keep your Persistent Storage—but just in case it fails, users can always do a manual upgrade.
