Taken 3 is the third instalment of the Taken 1v1 battle franchise by Roger Games. Taken 3’s advertising on the Google Play store should be taken with a grain of salt. While advertised, with pictorial evidence, to be of similar quality to Tekken 3, the game doesn’t live up to the hype or the four-star review.
PvP or 1v1 games are common on the Google Play store. Just make sure you read through the reviews of each before you download to get a better idea of what you’re downloading. To steer clear of spam or false advertising, stick to free titles like Mortal Kombat or Dragon Ball Legends. Games like Taken 3 will lure you in with beautiful screenshots, but downloading based purely on those, in this case, is a mistake.
Poor graphics
Downloading Taken 3 is exciting since the game looks appealing from the screenshots. However, even just booting up the game shows how poorly it was made. Immediately upon bootup, you’re greeted with underwhelming imagery, low-quality music and, worst of all, graphics that don’t match the screenshots.
Underwhelming gameplay
Other than suffering through characters that look nothing like what was advertised, the actual gameplay featured in Taken 3 is astoundingly poor. Your opponents have faster reflexes and fewer hitboxes with far shorter recharge times. There’s little opportunity for you to actually win in this game.
Ad-intensive
If the game was as advertised, the ads wouldn’t be too annoying. Unfortunately, Taken 3 is as relentless with its ads as its computer-generated combat. Expect to be bombarded by adverts at every turn, no matter what you’re doing in the game. After each ad, there is significant lag, even on an Android 11 device with more than enough space to run this 35 MB game.
Not worth your time
There is significant frustration in trying to run Taken 3. Although advertised to run On Android 4.1, Taken 3 struggles even on Android 11. Take care when downloading a game of such poor quality if you still want to give it a try, especially one with so many ads.
