Stoneshard: A New Roguelike RPG
Stoneshard is a new turn-based RPG game developed by Ink Stains Games. Set in a war-ravaged land, you play the role of an ordinary mercenary who is offered a deal by a mysterious stranger. Your mission is to lead the Caravan of Companions across the lands of Aldor, gathering followers, liberating villages, and plundering dungeons for fame and loot. Along the way, you will face hundreds of enemies, hunger, fear, pain, and internal conflicts within your company.
The game features procedurally-generated lands and cities, where you can find new allies and persuade them to join your cause, build up the morale of your followers, and develop attributes, skills, traits, and talents unique to your playstyle. You can also choose between several rival deities or a single patron to receive astonishing power, but at a terrifying price. The game offers a vast arsenal of weapons, equipment, and enhancing potions, and you can choose to fight face-to-face, use stealth, or cast mystical spells to defeat your enemies. The game is challenging, and your character has only one life, but your progress can be continued with another hero as the leader of the Caravan.
