Sniper Elite - Conquer the Galaxy Review
Sniper Elite, formerly known as Star Wars Rebellion, is a third person, open-world shooting, tactical role-playing video game based on the film of the same name. Star Wars made its debut in the mid-sixties and was later featured in countless video games, cartoons, films, commercials, and even live action television programs. However, it is Sniper Elite that defined the genre. In 2021, Sniper Elite: Conquer the Galaxy, a follow up to its successful first outing, was released to positive reviews and to much acclaim from gamers and hardcore fans everywhere.
Sniper Elite involves the player taking on the role of a sniper and defends his or her position against waves of enemy soldiers using the latest technologies available in any war situation: automatic rifles, hand grenades, and an invisible wall that can repel attacks and still allow you to see the battlefield. Unlike the first game in the series where you had to cover a large distance without a means of moving, in Sniper Elite, your rifle can be fully equipped and loaded with bullets at any time. This allows you to remain at the top of your skill tree at all times, changing your weapon and leveling your sniper according to the type of shootouts you find yourself in.
Like the first game in the franchise, Sniper Elite: Conquer the Galaxy, Sniper Elite has a third-person perspective, but gameplay is not as linear in this game. Instead of a single path through the game, players are forced to take part in multiple linked missions that often change depending on which mission you've chosen. This change gives Sniper Elite a much more open feel, and it really brings the entire game into the realm of real-time combat. Combined with its excellent visuals, an engrossing storyline, and addictive gameplay, Sniper Elite: Conquer the Galaxy is easily one of the best games of 2021.
