Pure Video Game Review
Pure is an off-roader, high-flying stunt-riding video game for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Microsoft Windows released by Disney Interactive Studios and created by Black Rock Studios. The story revolves around a young woman who crashes her motorcycle while on a cross country ride. While the injury is quite serious, she quickly races to the nearest hospital in hopes of getting well and making it back home to live her life. However, the accident has caused her to lose her ability to drive and she is left with no other means of transportation except for racing her motorcycle.
The story line of the game takes place on a remote island known as Pure Island, where all vehicles are required to be driven by manual power. Pure is a race track where racer's from all over the world compete to finish the course in the quickest amount of time. If you choose to purchase the downloadable version of the game, you will be able to customize your character and compete against other racers of the world. The downloadable version of the game has an average rating of 50% on Metacritic. Many critics have described the game as one that will keep you entertained for several hours and will not bore the hell out of you.
Overall, Pure is a fun and entertaining video game that you should add to your gaming collection. Although the graphics and the custom design of the vehicles are not the best, they are still enjoyable to play. The overall speed and difficulty level are what makes this game worth your time, as you will be racing against others who have mastered the tips and tricks in the game to become the most successful rider. I have included Pure on my list of must haves for anyone who owns an Xbox 360 and would like to take it for a spin.
