Shooting action mobile game

Marooned in a Caribbean prison on Pirate Bay, you'll need to use stealth and your skills to break out. The mobile game features touchscreen gameplay with combat and puzzle elements.
Touchscreen pirate adventure
Pirate Bay: Caribbean Prison Break sets you as a pirate in a prison cell. Using touchscreen controls, you'll need to find the best way to affect a prison break. There are various stages for you to select, each replete with mission objectives.
Stealth and puzzles
Each mission measures your success at stealth. When that fails, you have your weapons to take down guards and enemies. There are also small side quests to perform, such as picking locks or hacking terminals.
Repetitive gameplay
After a few levels, the stages become repetitive even after you find new weapons and unlock new skills. While later levels become harder, the main elements remain the same. The combat with the sword features a limited slash movement, which doesn't feel rewarding.
Clunky graphics
The character and item designs are blocky. There are times when it causes issues with movement, such a fallen body blocking the doorway you're trying to step through towards the main objective.
Riddled with adverts
While many free Android games have adverts in them, Pirate Bay: Caribbean Prison Break has them too often. Unless you pay to remove the adverts, they'll pop up with every action you complete. This feature takes away from what could have been an enjoyable pirate experience.
Good concept, bad execution
The mobile pirate prison break game is a good concept that the developer delivered poorly. The touchscreen elements work well, but the blocky graphics and unstable interactions interfere with the gameplay. There are better games available, such as The Voyage Initiation and Pirate Clan: Treasure of the Seven Seas.
