PicoPDF is a free PDF editor with similar functions to Icecream PDF Editor and PDF Editor 5.5. You’ll have access to several editing tools, such as adding text, spaces and images. You can also adjust any of the available layouts or work from a template.
If annotations are important to you, you can add comments or notes to any PDF document. There’s also a function to add signatures if you need recipients to sign and send them back. One of the top features is that you can use it without an internet connection from any location.
Top editing features
When it comes to the basic functions, PicoPDF lets you enter text and spaces, working with any layout you need for your document. You can create forms with buttons or line-text boxes if you require reader input. There are several form designs you can work with, depending on what your needs are.
Working with images
You may also need images in your document, especially if you’re working on a business or financial plan, and you want to impress the recipient. PicoPDF lets you place and move images around at will, as long as it doesn’t clash with any of the other elements. Of course, you can also insert text over images if you need to.
Signatures for legal documents
Sometimes, you need the customer or recipient to sign the document to confirm that they’ve read it or agreed to the terms and conditions. It becomes an electronic signature panel that’s easy to complete and send back. The PDF will then constitute a legal agreement or confirmation.
Local and offline editing
Some PDF editors require internet access to be able to use them. PicoPDF works locally on your device and saves them in your computer’s storage. The only time you’ll need a connection is when you want to email a document, although you may want to also update the program from time to time.
