Night Cascades is an intriguing interactive mystery game developed by Hanako Games. The game follows the story of Diane Carter, who, armed with a folklore degree, becomes a special consultant for the local police department to investigate occult-themed fires. Alongside her complicated partner, Jackie, Diane must navigate obstacles and uncover the truth.

Set in the 1980s, known as the Dark New Age, Night Cascades explores a time when belief in paranormal powers was widespread. Players engage in an immersive mystery, searching crime scenes for clues and interrogating suspects through minigames. The game presents the story from multiple perspectives, allowing players to experience different facets of the past and present. Additionally, a lesbian romance develops between the adult female characters.
