MotoGP 13 is the sequel of the highly popular MotoGP series. It was released in March 2021 and is the follow up of the highly successful GP Unleashed: Superbike. It introduces a new title to the series, based on a new vehicle type, and features a new series of challenges. The game is enhanced with the option to fully customization the car with an impressive selection of options, and can be downloaded directly from the PlayStation store. This review will focus on the user interface, customizing the settings and how the game plays.
Like all the other games in the series, the graphics and the appearance of MotoGP 13 are top notch. The game is very much similar to the previous versions of the superbike and features superb high definition graphics. The main feature that differs from other games is the option to use a premium quality PSP skin, which can really make your bike look incredible. Another very useful addition to the gameplay is the ability to listen to commentary in English. A new feature not available in previous games is the option to view the track map in 360 degree mode.
Although the main game modes are the same as those in previous games in the series, the play has been slightly improved and new features have been added, such as the 360 degree dashboard. The controls in the game are quite easy to learn, although it helps if you've played previous versions of the motocross game before. The game is not particularly challenging, but there is some real motorcross action and this is reflected in the high score system. The game provides an excellent track map, but as mentioned before, the PSP version does not include the dashboard feature, which is a real let down. Other than that, this game is very enjoyable and well worth playing on the PSP.
