Single-player action game
The eleventh title in the GTA series, Grand Theft Auto IV maintains the classic gameplay of shooting enemies, stealing cars, and exploring the open world.
GTA IV is a single-player game with online gameplay removed in this updated version. However, compensating for the lack of multiplayer is the addition of the Episodes from Liberty City DLC as an official part of the game.
Single-player gameplay
Gameplay centres around Niko Bellic as he tries to escape from his past and make a new life. You can roam freely as you steal cars and commit other crimes or complete the story through missions.
Graphics
The new version of Grand Theft Auto IV hasn't changed the graphics quality, which means the game can run on lower-end machines. The minimum system requirements you'll need are a 256 MB graphics card and 1.5 GB memory with a decent processor such as a dual-core running at least 1.8 GHz from Intel. You'll also need to set aside 22 GB of space on your hard drive.
Rockstar launcher
All players who have never used the Rockstar launcher will now require it. This also comes with the disablement of Windows Live and the leaderboard feature, as the title is now entirely offline.
Unfinishable
As a result of several bugs from the previous version originating in 2008, you cannot finish the game. This is due to the character falling off the helicopter in the last mission or the save file corrupting. Along with these issues, the graphics received no attention, and online game features are now disabled.
Players now also need a Rockstar account and need to go through the launcher before they start playing the game. Fortunately, with 22 GB of space and a low-end machine, you can still play and enjoy this game for most of the missions.
