Revamped adventure game

Like the original browser game, this PC version of Frog Fractions is filled with psychedelic randomness that will delight, baffle, and amuse any player. Simple gameplay hides confusing mechanics and mysterious stories. Developed by Twinbeard, players are in for a lot more than just a frog in a hat eating bugs.
Multiple genres brilliantly combined
Hop the frog is back for another amphibious adventure in Frog Fractions: Game of the Decade Edition. Like the original, Hop starts his journey on a lily pad in the middle of a pond, eating the bugs that come to steal his fruit. This is the first of several short story stages, and each one just gets weirder.
As you gather your rescued fruit, you’ll eventually be able to unlock powerful upgrades, like Draggy the dragon. Together, you’ll go on a strange interstellar journey filled with bugs, mazes, and secrets, if you can discover them.
Frog Fractions combines elements of old-school text-based adventure, shooting, dancing, and puzzle games. There are also hints at a few adult themes, so don’t download this one to distract the kids!
Nothing is what it seems
There’s nothing straightforward about this quirky game, even if it looks that way at first glance. You can easily get stuck in a few places, and the occasional glance at a walkthrough might be necessary.
Better with headwear
Most DLCs only add a few small features to a game and, at first, it looks like the Iconic Hat DLC does little more than give Hop a toasty beanie to wear. However, like most features of this game, there’s a lot more to this addon than it seems.
General opinion is that the DLC is almost like a standalone sequel. Without spoiling anything, we must agree. The extra storyline and gameplay are just as unusual as the original itself. If you enjoyed taking Hop on his first adventure, you’ll love the additional wacky chapters added by this downloadable content.
Surreal old-school adventure
You might need a guide or two to make it through the game, but the challenging, confusing, and humorous gameplay in Frog Fractions is part of the fun. If you’re looking for an extended story and significantly stranger gameplay, consider getting the Iconic Hat DLC. Frog Fractions: Game of the Year Edition is a delightfully silly experience from beginning to end.
