Not what Five Nights at Freddy’s fans wanted
Five Nights at Freddy's World is a turn-based RPG spin-off of the famous Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNAF) saga. This game offers a strange dream for series fans, allowing them to control up to 40 characters and explore an unusually twee fantasy world. However, it falls short of expectations in every way.
The main mission lacks a clear objective and offers no guide or plot to justify your actions. The lack of direction becomes even more frustrating as it is difficult to find glitches and errors, with their visual effects being lost in the environment's garish stages. The battle system is equally disappointing, with no descriptions for the attacks and no strategy involved. The only tactic is to spam skills until you win or lose.
The world of Five Nights at Freddy's World is a letdown as well. The designs of the animatronics are ugly, the animation is poor, and there are hardly any secrets or incentives to encourage exploration. Recruiting new characters is completely random, leaving you without a sense of accomplishment or skill.
Overall, Five Nights at Freddy's World is a boring, confusing, and ugly game. Fans of the series are better off returning to previous installments that represent the pinnacle of this horror franchise.
