DiskSavvy: Detect occupied space on your disks
DiskSavvy is an easy, nicely designed disk analyzing tool that tells you exactly how space is distributed among files and folders. Though this free version of DiskSavvy is a bit limited for our taste, it’s perfectly fine for a quick disk analysis. It works with local drives, as well as networked shared drives and NAS storage devices, and provides you with a general overview of the files and folders that are taking up most of your disk space.
The scans in DiskSavvy are surprisingly quick and can be tweaked to exclude or include certain folders or file types based on advanced filters. The analysis results are displayed right on DiskSavvy’s interface and you can classify them according to different criteria. They can also be viewed as charts and exported as a report in different formats.
Summing up, DiskSavvy is a fast, neat disk analyzer that helps you spot the largest folders on your hard drive. But if you need extra features, you’ll need to upgrade to the Pro version or look somewhere else.
