Devil May Cry 4 is an award winning hack and slash adventure video game developed and released byCapcom in 2021 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360and Windows platforms. It's the fourth release in the popular Devil May Cry franchise and is written and directed by Hideaki Itsuno and produced by Koei Tainaka. The game is set during a world where the legendary hero MegaGod Ulric lives. Years have passed since his fight against humanity called the Mega Crusade, but his legend lives on as he gathers followers under the orders of a mysterious mystic known as Sage. Now, in an attempt to clear his name and save his father's kingdom from destruction, the player assumes the role of this legendary character and takes up arms to seek out justice and retribution on the behalf of MegaGod himself.
One of the most interesting features in Devil May Cry 4 is its unique takes on characters and the environment around them. The game starts with the player taking a look at the destructive efforts made by Sigma to create a human and vegetarian hybrid called Ulric. For reasons unknown to either human or to our four playable characters, Sigma created a monster known as the Devil to fight the humans and protect the planet. The story goes on to show that despite being the chosen vessel of the strongest and wisest of men, the Devil proves to be too weak to stand up to the challenges thrown at him.
The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has been replaced by beings known as the Angels. These angels fight against the Devil and his army of Angels with the help of the well-trained Devil Trigger. This powerful energy generator transforms the Devil into a powerful fighting machine that is virtually invincible. In order to win the game, you have to learn and master special skills and weapon combinations from a selection of Devil Trigger moves, as well as mastering special moves and weapons of your own. Unlocking every move in the quickest time possible, allows you to build up enough points to unleash the powerful Devil May Cry 4's true potential which is making the final fight between the good and evil forces of good in a never ending battle.
