Clover is an office and productivity program by EJIE Technology that can help you manage the folders and/or documents in your computer. It does this by opening the folder on a new tab instead of a new window. This is a feature you can add to your Windows computer as its Windows Explorer opens a new window for every folder you open. Its appearance mimics a web browser including a search bar, bookmarks, and tabs. At 11.85 MB, it is a lightweight software you can add to your Windows PC.
Unified features
Clover changes how you see your opened folders. You will still be able to access the default menus, navigation panes, and previews but with the addition of tabs. Each opened folder will now have a tab below the file path bar. Tabs allow you to see which folders are relevant to your work. For example, you can open folders for different projects but they’re all related to work. This makes it easier for you to open a file at a moment’s notice. It has other capabilities that can make you more efficient. One is its ability to create shortcuts. These are the folders, files, or programs you open the most. It appears similar to the bookmark manager of web browsers like Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, and it can also be re-arranged. You can add a new bookmark by dragging and dropping it onto the bookmarks bar or use its hotkey, CTRL + D. The browser-like user experience continues when you have closed a tab. You can launch a recently closed tab by opening it in the Context Menu. The program also allows you to use other hotkeys such as CTRL + Tab to switch tabs, CTRL + W to close a page, and CTRL + T to open a page.Simple capability
Advanced users can maximize Clover’s other capability which is importing bookmarks from HTML files. This is a more efficient way that manually entering the bookmarks you already have. The other way is also true; you can turn the bookmarks you created on Clover into HTML files. Other than this, Clover does not have other customization options or configuration settings. EJIE created Clover to display your folders and/or files in a single, organized window. It is also a straightforward version of other file managers like Total Commander and EF Commander. Clover is not capable of packing and unpacking files, accessing file transfer protocol, or compare files by content. You will also not be able to edit any binary files on this program.Create an organized space
