Bad Batch Dating Sim Demo for Windows

Samanila Sandwich has developed Bad Batch Dating Sim Demo. You can download it free in English for Windows 7 up to Windows 10, or donate to the developer. This branching romance visual novel is still in development. 

The fan work takes its characters from Disney and Star Wars. In the game, pirates capture you, and a clone force is sent to rescue you and bring you home. Sonic World is an arcade-style fan game based on Sonic the Hedgehog; if that sounds more up your alley, consider giving it a whirl instead.  

Game preferences

The demo gives you some customisation options. 

• You can choose between the windowed view or fullscreen.
• You can disable rollback, or choose to display it on the left or right side of the screen.
• It allows you to enable skipping under specific conditions, such as for unseen text, after choices, and during transitions.
• You can use the sliders to adjust the text speed and the auto-forward time.
• You can adjust the music, sound, and voice volume with sliders, or choose to 'Mute All.'

Gameplay

The demo game features a fascinating storyline. During gameplay, you navigate with menu options at the bottom of the screen. You can go back, check your history, save, quick save, or choose a quick load. It will also let you access the preferences to customise gameplay options. 

You can click to advance through the storyline and choose a course of action from the options displayed. The choices you make determine the outcome of the story. You can engage with a clone trooper in conversation to learn more about them, or try to find out why they've sent such an elite squad to rescue you. Since it is a demo version, it offers limited options to explore.

Game graphics

The game settings create a sombre feeling using black and dark grey shades for the rescue ship. The differently coloured lights from the ship's console add an eerie glow. When you go outside, everything appears hazy, in streaks of brown and green. 

The clones are cartoonish and are based on Disney and Star Wars characters.

Limited play demo

Bad Batch Dating Sim is a visual novel story where clone troopers rescue you from a gang of pirates. You explore the rescue ship and engage the clone troopers in conversation. The game offers you different choices, which leads to different possible endings. Star Wars fans will enjoy the various clone trooper variations.

The full game release will expand the storylines, giving players more choices and adding more possible endings.
