With Appmaker you can easily create database driven applications. Any existing database (SQL Server, MS Access, MySQL, or any other ADO data source) is easily importable into the Appmaker Developer Tool. The Appmaker will automatically generate edit screens for each field in the source data. If needed, you can even change the format of the generated forms or remove fields from the forms by using the drag and drop features of Appmaker. It is also possible to change the names of the columns, date fields, and others.

In the event that you don't have the necessary programming skills to develop a project, Appmaker provides a support for WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) web applications. For example, you can create custom widgets by using the drag and drop features of Appmaker to customize the appearance of the screen. The WYSIWYG editor allows you to create complex widgets that are designed according to the latest trends in the mobile industry. Thus, you can give your end users a better user experience by providing them with more features and better widgets to enjoy on the Android platform.

When you are trying out Appmaker for the first time, there is an option to download app maker that allows you to select save state. This means that every time you make changes to the project, you will be saving it in your computer in a different location so that it is available to your end users when they need it. However, in order to use this feature you will have to have a working connection to your computer, or a computer that has an open Wi-Fi connection. Thus, if you have to conduct business over a wireless network such as Wi-Fi, it is not possible to download app maker and use it on your Android device. If you do want to use this feature, it is advisable that you create projects on a computer and then transfer them to your Android device over the airwaves.
