Angry Birds Seasons is the second free puzzle game in the Angry Birds franchise, developed by Rovio Mobile from the concept of the successful iPhone game. In Angry Birds Seasons, you play as a passenger on a flying plane and must prevent the evil pillagers and their army of eggs from destroying the world by flapping your way through all the levels and completing the different challenge sets. As in the previous games, you can play as a different character in Angry Birds Seasons including the likes of Stompy the Giant, Tiki hut and Dr. Finkelstein to name a few. The screen is filled with colorful birds when you play this challenging Angry Birds competition and looks pretty good too.
As in its sister games, you need to use a controller to play Angry Birds Seasons which in turn offers the same basic gameplay as the previous games. The challenges are designed to be as varied as possible to keep your brain occupied and to challenge your skill. The graphics are crisp and the interface pretty easy to use, with smooth animation and excellent visual effects. When it comes to sound and actual game play, it doesn't get much better than the iPhone versions of Angry Birds.
However, the best thing about Angry Birds Seasons is that you can continue where you left off from the very first level. You are not penalized for having to start from the scratch every time you play and this is the most appealing aspect of the game. You are also not timed during these levels, allowing you to move at a good rate and take out the pigs without getting stuck and falling to the ground. Overall, Angry Birds Seasons offers a lot of value for the iPhone and iPod users who love Angry Birds and play it all the time.
