AceMoney Lite - A Quick Review
AceMoney Lite is a quick and easy method to learn about money management concepts through a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) visual currency chart. This is very similar to the product that was developed by Microsoft Money. It is not as robust, but has all the features of the real thing, and if you need a simple way to understand how interest rates affect your finances, it might be just what you're looking for. Here's a quick review of AceMoney Lite.
AceMoney Lite is standalone personal finance software created byMechCAD. As of this writing, the standard full version is priced at around thirty dollars, which comes with free lifetime updates. AceMoney Lite (a free trial offering) comes with a limited number of features, but is still a great way to understand how interest rates affect your finances. It also has two accounts: a "standard" account that you'll be using to start building your own finances, and an account you'll use to track your savings. Both accounts are designed to track your spending, income, and taxes.
The best part about AceMoney Lite is the "left-sidebar" widget that it uses to display your financial statistics. The left side pane displays your monthly expenditures, your income, and your taxes. If there are any scheduled transactions that you've made, they will appear below that information. You can easily see which credit card or debit card you've used to make a certain purchase, and you can see your monthly cash flow from those purchases. The sidebar menu will also allow you to easily move your expenses from one account to another and will also allow you to set up recurring transactions that will automatically deduct from your available savings each month.
