MyProvence Balade is a free Android application developed by Bouches-du-Rhone Tourisme. This travel and navigation app keeps users updated on forest access regulations in Bouches-du-Rhône from June 1st to September 30th. It provides details on the three levels of forest fire danger (Orange, Red, and Black) set daily by the forest massif. The app also offers insights into traffic and parking restrictions in high-risk areas prone to forest fires, based on weather conditions.
MyProvence Balade, available in French and English, delivers daily updates before 6:00 pm for the following day. It is part of the Proxima Mobile initiative, led by the Délégation aux Usages de l'Internet, to establish the first European portal for general interest mobile services. The app, labeled as "Proxima Mobile," promotes responsible behavior to safeguard Bouches-du-Rhône's significant sites.
