Free breeding simulator for Android
My Singing Monsters is a free breeding simulator for Android created by Big Blue Bubble. The game lets you casually collect monsters that regale you with a unique song. As you upgrade and evolve your monsters, their songs will change. The game's purpose is to collect as many monsters as possible and breed them to find new variations and songs.
This is a very different game from other breeding simulators. However, if you take the music out of the equation, you’re left with a game fairly similar to Simulator Feed and Grow: Fish Game and Fish Live. The other noticeable difference is that the two games mentioned above have to do with fish, not monsters. However, all of these games require your to breed creatures in order to find new variations and species.
My Singing Monsters is a game that is bound to entertain players for more than a few hours. This game has numerous gameplay mechanics, such as a wide variety of monsters to play with, plenty of unique sounds, and even a good selection of customisation options. My Singing Monsters even features events that players can join should they be so inclined.
Rich gameplay
Graphics
Unfortunately, this is where My Singing Monsters falls short. While the game is fun and exciting to play, the graphics are reminiscent of the first generation of smartphone games, where the industry was still finding itself, and the demand for AAA-like mobile games wasn’t a concern. The game looks very juvenile, and the monsters aren’t as adorable as they could be. The animations aren’t as smooth as you may expect from a modern mobile game, and all of this leaves the game feeling incredibly dated.
Decent but lacks depth
Another expectation that modern gamers typically have, even in the case of mobile games, is some kind of storyline or overall narrative. My Singing Monsters is entirely devoid of any such mechanic and exists rather as little more than a breeding simulator.
If you enjoy breeding virtual animals and seeing what results from particular genetic pairings, this is the game for you. If you prefer a storyline or deeper meaning to the game, you’re better off trying one of the alternatives mentioned above.
