What Is Flight Sim? How Do You Use It and Do I Need To Buy It To Be Really Happy?
It's about time Flight Sim 2021 was released, if you are a fan of the aircraft simulation genre then you will love the new version and the add-on packs. I have always been a fan of the Flight Sim genre but it has taken me some time to find a good flight simulation application which offers a realistic and robust flying experience. This application has it all and does away with a lot of the early 'experts' opinions that tend to cloud a lot of potential ideas with reality. The biggest plus point for me is the user friendliness. It is not as difficult to use as the other flight sim applications and once you have found your way around the interface it is quite easy to fly an airplane with just a few mouse clicks.
If I had to pick only one feature of Flight Sim 2021 to give my top recommendation it would be the addition of Google Maps as an integral part of the application. Google Maps is hands down the best mapping tool that is available anywhere, but having it as part of a comprehensive application that can be used on mobile devices, tablets and even smart phones was a real plus. My favorite feature however, is the added flight simulator options that are now available. If you want to try out aerodynamics or speed patterns, or just want to practice your landing technique with different airports, you now have the option of doing these in the comfort of your own home without any risk or investment. With the most recent version, the ability to play air race tracks is also a popular choice, but if you are looking for something more unique you can also try aircraft versus planes and even space shuttles!
One thing that has really made my day on the airplane since Flight Sim 2021 came out, is the new flight simulator control scheme known as the RHS, which stands for Rate of Service. This system is based on how long the plane has been sitting on the runway before being used. If you use the wrong lever and time it, you will be wasting fuel and/or money, so it makes sense to train under a mentor and learn how to handle the plane under their supervision. I am a big fan of this concept as it helps you not only become a better pilot, but it will also prevent you from spending money and hurting the economy.
