Free farming simulator for Android
FarmVille 3 is an adorable, free farming simulator available for Android. Created by Zynga, FarmVille first launched on Facebook, but since the website no longer supports Flash-based games, it found a new permanent home on the Google Play Store.
FarmVille 3 is joined by a host of free Android games with similar mechanics. Hay Day is on the list of suitable alternatives if you like the FarmVille fantasy with a slightly more comedic take. For a more realistic look at farming mechanics, try Farming Simulator 16. While lacking in the cute animal department, its graphics are solid and it features many tasks revolving around heavy industrial farming equipment.

Twelve years after its initial release, FarmVille is back with the iconic red barn and overhauled graphics. This game was the free online oasis of the previous decade’s Facebook users, so it will no doubt be comforting to see the happy animals of FarmVille bounding across your screen again. This time there are new breeds of animals to unlock through breeding and recipes to discover as you build your farm into the biggest in the village.

FarmVille had a solid concept where you had to farm resources needed to ultimately improve your farm. FarmVille 3 builds on that concept with more resources, farming options and even weather mechanics that either hamper or hinder your farming journey. FarmVille 3 also introduces a new cast of supporting characters with diverse backgrounds to help you on your way. Level up characters like farmhands, builders and cooks to unlock new content like skills and recipes.
Play together
Games like FarmVille always seem to have been built with cooperative play in mind. FarmVille 3 adds a new mechanic to join a Co-Op and play together to unlock additional in-game content and strengthen the bonds of the online gaming community. Co-Ops are unique places to chat and trade with other farmers and are accessible by tapping on the Town Hall.
