Deluxe Pacman - Does it Get Better Than the Regular Version?

Deluxe Pacman is a modification for the arcade game Pacman. You have the choice of setting it up so that you get an 'official' version of the game. I don't think that is necessary because the 'versus' version of the game has the same objective and so is just as fun. This version of Deluxe Pacman also includes a level editor, which allows you to set up new levels for your play.
I think the biggest thing that sets this apart from the other versions of the game is the sounds. The sound effects are much more crisp, and in my opinion, make the game much more enjoyable to play. It is a lot less irritating to hear those dreaded ghostly Pacman sounds every five minutes, so I can actually enjoy playing the game now! If you are someone who likes to play old arcade games but has grown tired of them, then this game is perfect for you.
However, if you want to be completely happy with the game, then you will want to install both the bonus and main Pacman variations. Although the first one does have quite a few advantages over the latter, you can also build up points by doing different things in each game mode. The graphics are a bit wonky when you are not playing against another human player, but they do provide some entertainment value when you are playing with friends or against the computer.
