Cubic Mile by Ghost Meets Cat is a free game that combines top-down shooter, 3D platformer and puzzle game genres all in one. In the game, you’ve been absorbed into your own consciousness, so you're forced to explore a series of rooms filled with volatile enemies.
As you progress through the rooms within the Cubic Mile, you'll encounter violent enemies and shards of your broken soul, which have become resentful of you leaving them behind. Your core weapon is a spin attack, but if you're resourceful, you'll find items that you can use to your advantage too. To get out of some of the rooms, you’ll have to solve multiple puzzles. Combine the games
On paper, Cubic Mile’s combo of game styles sounds like a potential mess. However, while the visual experience sometimes borders on the surreal, it works well with gameplay that offers variety without being confusing. The main feature that we'd like to see improved in Cubic Mile is better keyboard support, which would make it more accessible to players without control pads.
