This app lets you send and receive files between your smartphone and laptop. Any other smart devices with Bluetooth installed can exchange data as well. The basic functions are easy to use, and the UI is simple and intuitive.
Easily transfer files
When you open Bluetooth on Android, you’ll see all your files in a branch layout. This allows direct access to anything you want to export. If you have rooted your phone, it doesn’t seem to transfer the source codes. You might have to make a hard copy of them as a text file should you need to send them out.
You won’t need a desktop version of BTF on your other device to receive files. It does help the process somewhat if you do. Most of the time, the default Windows Bluetooth would suffice. The app has FTP, OPP (Object Push Profile), and Phone Book Access. You can also send mobile applications across devices.
Takes a while to transfer
The biggest problem with this program is how long it takes for each transfer. Your wifi strength can only worsen the speed and not improve it. It helps a lot if both ends are on the same connection. Sending things on 4G seems buggy.
Simple to use
Anyone can use BTF due to its easy to use interface. Select the file and hit transfer, and you’re good to go. If you want to back up important documents without using the cloud, start using this Bluetooth app.
