Bleach: Zanpakutou Senshi Mod is a free conversion of Half-Life 1 developed by Bleach Zanpakuto Senshi Development Team for Windows. This mod uses Half-Life’s Source engine to create a hack and slash and fighting game with iconic characters from the anime Bleach. You’ll find your favourite characters like Ichigo, and you’ll be able to use their unique abilities to fight in environments from the anime.
The game adopts a third-person perspective, and cell-shaded graphics to look closer to the source material. Half-Life has tons of mods, and you can also try Half-Craft, Half-Life: Delta Mod, and Half-Life: Decay Mod to enjoy this cult-classic video game.
Iconic environments & characters
Bleach: Zanpakutou Senshi is a total conversion of Half-Life, so it uses the Source engine, but the experience is light years from the fps you know. It recreates iconic locations from the anime, like the Inner World or Las Noches. Fans of Bleach will get to play with their favourite character and use their unique abilities and weapons. The mod features characters like Noitrai, Ichigo, or Grimmjow.
Furthermore, the game looks nothing like Half-Life. The creators of the mod have implemented a cell-shading look to get the experience closer to games like Naruto Ultimate Ninja, or the Dragon Ball Budokai series. Characters will move around swiftly and will adopt a third-person view so that you can admire the models.
Gameplay
Playing the game feels nothing like playing Half-Life, and most of the combat is either hand-to-hand, blade combat, or throwing magical powers. Each character has a unique set of skills and will fight in their own unique style, as seen in the anime. This makes it even more pleasing for the fans to finally have a Bleach game. Furthermore, while playing the game, you’ll have a life bar, and a magic bar that will deplete when you use magical powers.
