Bid For Power 2 - Now Fully Retouched And Replaced With New Content
In essence, Bid for Power 2 would be a reincarnation of the classic battle-ridden, 'deathmatch' style video game, where each character has free movement, and must survive only by defeating their opponents. But classic elements of Dragonball fighting games have also been introduced, like special attacks, moves, kamehamameha, etc. These special moves can cause special effects, that makes the whole game more exciting. The game is generally played on a console such as Xbox, Sony PlayStation 2, Nintendo Wii or PC.
The exciting news is, that there are several modding tools now available, that will allow you to play the game using your new game engine as well as the original game's features. These new mods basically replace or enhance the existing content of the game, but can be used in conjunction with the original modders, to make even more exciting game play. In my opinion, it will be easy for hardcore fans of Dragonball, to use these new mods, while casual players and new comers to the series may find the original content too easy to handle. Either way, I am very happy to see these modding tools out in the market.
If you have not yet tried out Bid for Power, then the game is definitely worth trying out, if you loved the first one, or the full version of Dragonball Z. Although, I am not entirely sure how much of the game is left, from what I have seen so far, of the free modding tools, I am sure it won't be much. If anyone out there wants to take a shot at modding this game, then I would highly suggest taking a shot at the Bid for Power 2 mod.
