The Simpsons: Tapped Out is an arcade game where you can create your own version of The Simpsons' Springfield. Homer is responsible for a nuclear meltdown that takes out the city of Springfield, and it's your job to help him build it back up. The game features a ton of items and characters to unlock, allowing you to reimagine what Springfield is like by rebuilding the entire city.
Each character in The Simpsons: Tapped Out has a list of tasks that they can perform, with varying amounts of time required. Longer tasks yield more money and experience points. You can collect money to purchase houses, decorations, and other items in the game. There are also donuts that can be used to speed up tasks and construction.
The game does a good job of balancing freedom with side quests, allowing players to completely ignore the tasks and do their own thing or complete tasks for bigger rewards. It's also nice to see that the developer, ELECTRONIC ARTS, doesn't push micro-transactions on users in The Simpsons: Tapped Out.
Overall, The Simpsons: Tapped Out is a fun time waster, but its gameplay may become repetitive due to the nature of the tasks.
