Minecraft Pocket Edition is a stripped-down version of Minecraft that is designed to run on mobile hardware, and as such, has fewer features and game content. Master for Minecraft-Launcher is a free app (for those with the Minecraft Pocket Edition) that aims to redress this problem by introducing more content to the base game.
Unlike ModLoader for Minecraft, this app is a companion app, with everything it offers taking place outside of the game itself. For that reason, you will need a paid-for copy of Minecraft Pocket Edition for this app to be of any use.
Lots of additional content
Master for Minecraft-Launcher works by providing the user with a vast selection of additional content for Minecraft Pocket Edition in kind of marketplace layout. The user can then select the things they want to try, and the app will download them and launch the game. You will need to own the game for this to work, but there is a lot of content to choose from.
There are maps to explore, “recipes” for ready-made buildings and recipes for things like cars and ships. It should be noted that the app doesn’t modify the game at all, so the additional content is still constrained by the limitations of the game. The user interface of the app is simple and easy to navigate, and finding additional content rarely takes long.
A good way to extend the life of Minecraft Pocket Edition
While this version of Minecraft is still quite dramatically restricted compared to more recent versions of the game, Master for Minecraft-Launcher provides a way to extend the playability of the game without having to buy the whole game again.
The app is lightweight and very quick to install. The user interface is simple enough that it shouldn’t pose any problems, even for young or inexperienced users. It also provides supplemental content, such as guides and recipes, that players who are new to the game might find useful.
