Whether you run a business or are just an employee, keeping track of work tasks across different networks can be tricky. Clubhouse is a project management app that helps organise your workflow, as well as keep track of tasks and team achievements.
Team management
Project management software is becoming more and more popular as businesses cut costs by working remotely. However, if you’re in charge of a team where every member lives or works somewhere else, it can be a real headache keeping track of what everybody’s doing.
Apps and browser-based products like Jira and Trello help by separating workflow into manageable boards and cards, complete with colour-coded labels for projects and staff. Clubhouse follows suit with easily-organised ‘Stories’, along with its version of boards and cards.
Clubhouse features
Stories act as a concise notification of general objectives, for example, ‘Reduce server load by 20%’. Epics show significant projects in an unstarted, started, and completed phase. A dashboard collects all relevant notifications together for each team member.
Clicking on any notification brings up more details, such as other team members, progress bars, and checklists. An activity feed cleverly funnels information into ‘all activity’ and ‘only mentions’, so you can easily find a card related to you or your team.
Track every detail
The ability to track all aspects of a project means it’s possible to monitor individual team member’s workloads and overall milestones. If you want or need to check on another team’s project, that’s also an option.
This focus on both the macro and the micro means projects can be organised at every level, by anybody. If you run a team but prefer each employee to use their initiative rather than have to delegate every task, the Clubhouse app caters to you. Also, being a mobile app means you don’t even have to be anywhere near your office computer to check on your team.
Team management on the go
Clubhouse has a lot going for it, and according to testimonials is a valuable tool for many software-orientated companies. However, there are also user reports that state the Android app doesn’t offer quite the same functionality as the desktop version, so bear this in mind if you want to give it a go.
