Turret Wars Retro is a simple fast-paced 3D arcade game where the objective is to blow up other turret guns before they get you. With good graphics and sound, the game is easy to play, with no complicated rules or strategies to understand.
When starting the game, you can select a wide variety of screen resolution settings and graphics quality options. The controls are mainly the cursor keys, which can be configured to your preference. There are six playing environments, each with its own difficulties and strategies. You can also choose from four different gun turret types, each with slightly different weapon and armor features. Additionally, you can choose to fight against computer-controlled gun turrets in three different difficulty levels.
During gameplay, a small map in the bottom right-hand corner shows the location of the turrets you need to destroy. Firing missiles in their general direction helps you gauge the angle at which you need to point your turret. The game is simple in principle but becomes absorbing as you try to aim your turret precisely. Your armor can withstand around 10 to 15 shell hits before it's game over.

Turret Wars Retro allows you to save your high scores on the developer's game server, where you can compare your scores against other players worldwide.
