iPod Access: Copy MP3 files from your iPod to hard drive
Have you ever needed to retrieve a song on your computer that is stored on your iPod or iPhone? Force Manual Mode prevents the dreaded moment when iTunes erases all of your data on your iPod. iPod Access detects iPods in Auto-Update mode and instantly gives you the option to switch to Manual Mode. However, please note that this option does not work for iPod Shuffles or iPhones.
iPod Access also provides iTunes Integration, which transfers your songs, movies, podcasts, and playlists directly into iTunes on your computer. Duplicate Song Checking ensures that you don't have multiple copies of the same song. Preserve MetaData embeds added extras, track name, artist, and album in the song file on your iPod.
Please note that iPod Access is only suitable for iPods and not iPod Shuffles or iPhones. Additionally, make sure you have the latest iPod firmware 1.2 installed, along with QuickTime 7.2 or higher.
