These are coupled with the heuristic analyzer. Together, they stop unknown viruses from hacking your device. These components are rigorously being updated. SpIDer Guard: Dr. Web’s native antivirus component. It simultaneously opens and scans files in real-time.
SpIDer Gate: Dr. Web’s second native antivirus component. It controls access to web resources by blocking all malicious objects from incoming HTTP traffic.
Scanner: This is a virus-detection component. It is a fast, full-featured and customizable scanner. This gives it authority to neutralize detected threats, specifically to cure, delete or move to Quarantine. It does this by detecting the threat and responding according to the preference settings. You can also alert the Scanner should you be suspicious of a file.
Quarantine: Dr. Web’s native folder. It is used to isolate infected files or other types of threats.
