With the popularity of online strategy games like Age of Empires, and other massively multiplayer online role playing games (MMORPG) such as World of Warcraft or EverQuest, it seems that there will come a day when someone will figure out how to replicate the Dam functionality. Currently, however, this functionality is only implemented in Windows. Fortunately, one person has already done so. Xs4all has developed a utility called Dam x, which you can download at their website.
You will need to download dam x from the web in order to play Dam online. It would be easier for you to make a shortcut on your computer for the executable, then you can install the dam app right away - all you have to do is double click on the downloaded file. Once installed, you will be able to launch Dam from the desktop. There you will see the standard Windows Task Bar and the controls for input, which are split into three menus:
At the top of this window, you will see a green button with an X through it. Clicking this button will launch the Dam utility, where you can find all of the commands that you need to play Dam against other players. Some of the most important Dam commands you will want to use include: --, and --. These are the Dam buttons that link you to the current game file that you are playing, as well as the end game file that is used to seal the win when you beat your opponent.
