Gameplay and storyline
You’ll begin by seeing the back of a horse that you can control to gallop in the direction of your choice across a black void. There’s a massive purple mass swirling above you. Taking a shot at the mass causes it to rain blood. The blood will form little spikes on the ground that you can grow and harvest.

Growing a spike means you have to provide it with blood that you’ve harvested from other spikes. You’ll have to keep on feeding your spike, as leaving it too long without blood will kill it. The trick is to balance the time taken to venture out to harvest blood with the frequency of feedings required to grow your spike tree. Keeping your spike tree alive is the main goal of the game.
Interface
The average gaming session lasts just a few minutes but extends as you perfect your timing. The game supports a mouse or keyboard to play. The controls and feeding procedures are challenging to figure out at first, but you can quickly get the hang of them and start feeding your spike.
The high-contrast graphics provide an eerie atmosphere while you venture out further to harvest blood.
